GMA-7's Hana Kimi
Versus
ABS-CBN's Hana KimiI was really having fun with this network rivalries. You see ABS-CBN and GMA-7 both invested money on this famous manga and series - Hana Kimi just to get high ratings. What's more funny is that ABS-CBN put an emphasis that their version was the original. Defensive right? but to tell you honestly, I like the Japanese version more than the Taiwanese Version. GMA-7 is really good at these things. They have great dubbers especially to animes and drama series and so far, they were investing on good shows.
Second reason why I like Hana Kimi on GMA-7 was the cast. Remember my post about Nobuta wo Produce (to be specific click it here and here)? That lady on those two great Jdrama is Maki Horikita. She is more lovely than the one who played the starring role in ABS-CBN. The other guy (love interest) was also one of the student of Onizuka. I've posted also about Great Teacher Onizuka in one of my blogs and he was still young at that time. His name there was Noburo Yoshikawa and his real name is Oguri Shun. The transition of characters from those two famous series are just so awesome. I really like how he looks now. Ang macho talaga at ang lakas ng dating! Hehehehehhe...
Anyway, that's all i can say. Besides, I don't want to make this post lengthy because I know it will not interest you to read a long post right? So, which do you prefer? ABS-CBN's Hana Kimi or GMA-7's Hana Kimi? Its up to you to decide. Better watch them both because they have different time slots anyway. Enjoy! It only means that Hana Kimi is really a superb show!

i never seen the dubbed version of hana kimi from abs-cbn though i've seen both from mysoju.com(subbed)..talaga na "they claim" na original ung sa kanila? baka siguro kasi mas naunang ginawa ung taiwan version than the jap version..hana kimi was a manga bago ni-adopt for tv...i strongly agree that the jap version is better :D

Anyway about the topic, Im not really so into local tv so im not sure what to say, haha, but Ive seen both the two hana kimi thing, I think The Original is Nicer than Japan's version(the dubbing was amateur) and the tomboy girl in Kimi's Taiwan was cute...anyways, just an opinion, hehe

BUT, overall i like the japanese version better because of its execution: from the impressive characterization, great flow of story (which by the way was modified from the manga version unlike the taiwanese ver. which was more faithful to the manga story), and production design.

ABS-CBN is far far far more better
for me mas maganda yung hana kimi ng abs-cbn kasi may halong comedy unlike sa gma eh masyadong serious...super funny si doc mj and wesley...nkakakilig naman si wu chun (bryan zuo)lalo na yung killer smile nya....WELL IT'S JUST AN OPINION WAG POH SANA MAGALIT YUNG MGA FANS NG HANA KIMI JAPAN VERSION!
hi.For me ABS CBN's HANA KIMI IS FAR BETTER than to GMA's..sa dubbing pa lang..mas maganda na ung sa DOS..alam na..saka khit di gnun kaganda ung girl character..ang cute nman ng mga expressions nea..comedy..not like sa SIYETE..boring, serious at ang pangit pa ng dubbing..(sorry to say but it's true)..saka D' ORIGINAL nman tlaga ung nsa DOS..TAIWAN was the first to air the manga series..kung dfensive ang DOS.. affected ang SIYETE..guilty sila sa panggagaya..right?
i only watched hana kimi (taiwan version) in the internet s crunchyroll at halos tapusin ko yung buong story ng almost 2 weeks...to the fact n nsa office ako... heheheh... s sobrang ganda ng story d n ko mkapaghintay.
at mas gusto ko yung TAIWAN version kc cute c ella chen- rui xi( joey s tagalog version)... ganda ng story at galing ng mga artiste lalu c wu chun. lalu kau maexcite pagnapanood nyo yung behind the scene at Music Video nila ella chen at wu chun to promote HANA KIMI...at patok cla not only here in asia but also s america! astig db! un lang :)
hello =)....i think the best hana kimi is hana kimi taiwan..because hana kimi japan is so serious & the girl who is pretending to be a guy is really,really,really obvious that she's a girl..unlike hana kimi taiwan,it's so funny,more interesting,& the characters are so cute..like ella,wu zun,& jiro.......i really,really admire wu zun because he is so cute..

To Camille, jonalene, and all those who say na "serious" ang Hana Kimi Japan:
Sigurado kayo? Hehehe! No offense pero super laugh trip nga ang HK Jap eh. I wouldn't judge which is better kasi I haven't seen the Taiwanese version. But as far as I know, romantically-inclined ang HK Tai so I didn't watch it na. Yung HK Japan is super nakakatawa.
I didn't watch it in local TV, though. Subbed lang. =D
