El Cuerpo del Deseo (Body of Desire) is something that makes our afternoon viewing a lot of fun. Me and my neighbors are always excited when it is already El Cuerpo del Deseo. You know, the story line is absolutely great and I love Mario Cimarro! He is just so handsome and so macho! I love you Mario, I love you! Hehhehehee...I am your huge fan kahit noong Gata Salvaje at Passion de Amor days pa.

By the way, what is the show all about?

It is about a man who come back from the dead and discovers dark secrets about his beautiful ex-wife and daughter.

The story features Pedro José Donaso (Andrés García), a wealthy old man in love with a gorgeous younger woman, Isabel Arroyo (Lorena rojas). He dies suddenly,but returns to Earth through transmigration (the passing of a soul into another body after death), in the body of Salvador Cerinza (Mario Cimarro), a handsome (yet poor) family man. Pédro Jose searches for everything he lost, uncovering secrets, truths and deceptions. Ultimately, he must set things straights and save those who truly loved him.

You see, interesting right? We will all be waiting for the uncovering of all the secrets and all that stuff. Congratulations to ABS-CBN for investing Spanish telenovela show such as this. Be sure to watch this guys!

I love Lovers!

Lovers is one good show I would love to give my time with. I am a fan of Kim Jung Eun ever since Lovers in Paris. Hmmnn..too bad, I am not able to follow all the episodes of it. I only see a few but there are scenes I don't understand.

I searched it in Crunchyroll but it is already being removed. I think i have also tried it in mysoju.com but it is still under repair. Gosshh...i think i will have to buy a DVD of it.

Do you like this Korean Series also? You know, I am starting to like the guy. He is not actually that handsome but I love his body. Hehehehhee...and I also love his character. To be honest, guys with those "chinito" eyes seems to be attractive now to me. Hehehehehe...

By the way, I found an interesting blog about this Korean Drama entitled "Lovers". Actually, the author created this blog because of his or her love to the series. I even like the header he designed. I also got the above image there.

Changed of Career!

I’ve written in my profile that I want to become a Pediatrician but when my former medtech classmate told me that it is still a bit complicated, I now have a second thought.

Becoming an x-ray technician would be a good substitute perhaps. I realized I am a bit weak when it comes to surgery and all that stuff.

Anyways, I google and found Medical Career Training website. It is offering opportunities for an x ray technician. The site also have other careers in the medical field aside from an xray technician.

If you plan to be one, then you better check out the site.

Kapitan Boom malapit na!

My five cute little neighbors are so excited to watch this show. I wonder when will this be air on primetime? They said it will be this April 26. Malapit na malapit na!

I have never read the writings of Mars Ravelo in Komiks so basically i don't have an idea about this fantaserye but basing on the commercial Jay-R Siaboc seems to be the Kapitan Boom. Jon Avila is his alter ego. Hmmnn...Jay-R is doing great in the showbiz industry on the other hand this is Jon Avila's big break.

Maja Salvador is also present in this fantaserye. As usual, she will be the love interest of Jay-R Siaboc. They create a good tandem you know even from Your Song and Patayin sa Sindak si Barbara. Mariana del Rio on the famous Samba Commercial Corned Beef will also be there.

We will definitely watch out for this show! Good luck!

The Singing Bee on ABS-CBN

This is one good show ABS-CBN has invested. To think, Filipinos love to sing. I am pretty sure this show will have high ratings not only on its premiere this coming monday (April 21) but all throughout.

Cesar Montano will be hosting the show. It only proves that he is a versatile person. He is not only into acting but also into singing. I still remember his movie where he was singing while playing the guitar. The song was Sana ay Mahalin mo rin ako. Remember?

Anyways, this game shows does not require you to be good in singing even if you are a "banyo queen". Just the basics of karaoke singing and remember the lyrics of the song. It is not a spelling bee but a singing bee.

Who wants to be the first Pinoy Sole Survivor?

GMA-7 is really investing on good quality shows. From the Korean Drama, Japanese Drama, Animes and now Reality Shows like Pinoy Idol and Survivor: Philippines.

I am so excited to watch the show because I am a huge fan of Survivor. I wonder where will the exact location be. I want to join the contest but I am afraid the challenges will be more on beaches. I am not good in swimming. I can survive not eating and other physical challenges but swimming jahhh...I almost died when I was still a kid.

Anyway, if you are up for the challenge and want to be the next millionaire (I bet the price should be a million or more than that) then better audition yourself.

Which Hana Kimi show do you like? ABS-CBN or GMA-7?

GMA-7's Hana Kimi

Versus

ABS-CBN's Hana Kimi

I was really having fun with this network rivalries. You see ABS-CBN and GMA-7 both invested money on this famous manga and series - Hana Kimi just to get high ratings. What's more funny is that ABS-CBN put an emphasis that their version was the original. Defensive right? but to tell you honestly, I like the Japanese version more than the Taiwanese Version. GMA-7 is really good at these things. They have great dubbers especially to animes and drama series and so far, they were investing on good shows.

Second reason why I like Hana Kimi on GMA-7 was the cast. Remember my post about Nobuta wo Produce (to be specific click it here and here)? That lady on those two great Jdrama is Maki Horikita. She is more lovely than the one who played the starring role in ABS-CBN. The other guy (love interest) was also one of the student of Onizuka. I've posted also about Great Teacher Onizuka in one of my blogs and he was still young at that time. His name there was Noburo Yoshikawa and his real name is Oguri Shun. The transition of characters from those two famous series are just so awesome. I really like how he looks now. Ang macho talaga at ang lakas ng dating! Hehehehehhe...

Anyway, that's all i can say. Besides, I don't want to make this post lengthy because I know it will not interest you to read a long post right? So, which do you prefer? ABS-CBN's Hana Kimi or GMA-7's Hana Kimi? Its up to you to decide. Better watch them both because they have different time slots anyway. Enjoy! It only means that Hana Kimi is really a superb show!

Gokusen

This is the third Jdorama I have watched. I am now in the Episode 9 of this series. So far, everything is doing great. This Jdorama is quite the same with GTO because this is also a story of a teacher and delinquent students.

But this time around, the teacher is not a guy but a young lady who happens to be in a Yakuza Family. Ever heard of that word? Let me refresh your mind. According to Wikipedia, they are the traditional organized crime groups in Japan. Sounds interesting right? Yamaguchi Kumiko (main character) will soon be the successor of the family business (she will be the next boss). Hmmnn...She is actually the homeroom teacher of the 3D class who are all boys and considered as "trash" in their school.

One good line I will never forget about this series was when Ojou or Yamaguchi said this:

"No matter what happens i'll make sure everyone of you graduates"

You see? She will do everything just to let all her students graduate. What an amazing teacher! It is hard to find one in the real world because they don't seem to care those who are considered "trash". They always go for those who gets high grades, etc..and chuvaness!
